The BOSTIG kit conversion, equipped with a zetec engine, boasts 130 Horses TO THE ROAD, and issues nearly FULL TORQUE all the way up to 4800 RPM. The stock Vanagon 2.1 WBX, by comparison, has peak torque from 2800 to 3200 RPM.
